War erupts in the northwest as the Qinghe Army unleashes its cannons and cavalry, sweeping through Western Xia, breaking Lingzhou, and forcing the Xia court to abandon Xingqingfu. Meanwhile, Zhao Gou charges alone into enemy lines to save Chen Su, taking a deadly arrow but leaving her shaken by a face eerily similar to someone from her past. When Chen Su suddenly probes him with a line about Palace Jade Liquor, a secret spanning millennia nearly comes to light!
